My majore concern is that I would like to bring the passwd file over. IIRC, FreeBSD uses a MD5 mechanims whilst Linux and other Unix's use a DES based scheme IS there a filter I need to run or will FreeBSD recognise DES based passwords and do the right thing ? Just to confirm, I assume FreeBSD supports the Adaptec 2940U2W and the Dlink 10/100 card (uses the Tulip chipset) Thanks, Yusuf -- Yusuf Goolamabbas yusufg@outblaze.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
