I have a PCI soundcard - Ensoniq AudioPCI, and would dearly like to get = it to work in FreeBSD. It supports Soundscape and Soundblaster emulation, and I am hoping to = install it as one of those. I have tried without success. I just get sb0 not found at 0x220 = etc. I have what seem to be the relevant portions in my Kernel etc. The card is detected on boot, as a PCI device (TYPE=3Dmultimedia????) My question is this. Do I really have any hope of doing this and does = the snd0 controller work with PCI=20 devices? Sorry if this has been asked 100's = of times=20 already...
