I always considered death to mean something closer to comatose rather than eternal torture. Rom. 8:23 "For the wages of sin is *death*..." Rev. 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second *death* has no power..." Rev. 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second *death*." and there are passages to suggest that it all does come to an end, eventually: Rev. 21:4 "And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away" -- Zach Heilig To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
