Date: Mon, 17 Jul 2000 18:57:17 PDT Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I just signed up to the list and need some help setting up my server. I have the server running fine, networking works great but I need to get sendmail running and don't know where to start... Again, I'm a linux newbie so don't skimp on the exact commands to do stuff or exact locations to find files. First, I can't find sendmail. It comes with the stable version does it not? I won't be setting up anything too complicated with the mail system, but I need one in place. Where do I configure new mail accounts and with what settings? Basicly take everything you know and forget it, start from scratch. That's where I'm at with most of linux and esspecially sendmail... I know this may be a task but I could use a starting point at least... Thanks, Ryan ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
