I've run in some troubles. I have a 486/sis496 machine. Also I have SCSI NCR53C810 controller installed I have 3 versions(3 boads) of this controller. I have , as I mentioned, SiS496 motherboard. Motherboard's Award BIOS does not have support for this SCSI controller. Every controller runs properly on OPTI486 with AmiBIOS SCSI controller support. But only one controller RUNS properly on *my* machine under FreeBSD 2.1.5. The second one fails after proper initialization during bus scanning phase with 'error' message & controller register dump. Also it hangs the system. The third one can't even initialize properly. It says '...on pci:9 irq ??... ...invalid irq 255...'. Any suggestions? --- vadik likholetov 218-9478 Key fingerprint = 41 5C 7C 4B F4 03 40 B9 57 81 0E EF F0 2E 96 A6
