The FreeBSD computer has 2 NICs. The external is connected to a cable modem and the internal to a hub on a LAN with network addresses 192.168.100.xxx. The computer I want to export to has IP 192.168.100.200 The relevant part of dmesg (full output clipped below) reads: Starting final network daemons: mountd Jun 18 20:51:36 cr269907-a mountd[165]: can't export /home Jun 18 20:51:36 cr269907-a mountd[165]: bad exports list line /home 192.168.100.200 My /etc/exports file has just the one line: /home 192.168.100.200 Output from netstat -rn: Routing tables Internet: Destination Gateway Flags Netif Expire default 24.113.160.1 UGSc dc0 24.113.160/22 link#1 UC dc0 => 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH lo0 192.168.100 link#2 UC ed0 => Internet6: Destination Gateway Flags Netif Expire ::1 ::1 UH lo0 fe80::%dc0/64 link#1 UC dc0 fe80::%ed0/64 link#2 UC ed0 fESG::%lo0/64 fe80::1%lo0 Uc lo0 ff01::/32 ::1 U lo0 ff02::%dc0/32 link#1 UC dc0 ff02::%ed0/32 link#2 UC ed0 ff02::%lo0/32 fe80::1%lo0 UC lo0 Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
