I have tried building the sound support into the kernel many times with no results. I am running Stable and am trying to use the pcm device. From all the documentation that I have read this is the new supported PNP sound drivers. I have checked my bios and have PNP enabled. I also do not have any IRQs reserved. When I have compiled the kernel with the config below this is the error I recieve from the PCM0 device. fxp0: Ethernet address 00:d0:b7:25:d7:f5 pcm0: at device 10.0 on pci2 pcm0: unable to map register space device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6 Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong? Help me please.
