Near as I can figure, it's due to gnomelibs-1.2.5, since that's the last thing I changed, and it was working before that. Make sure you send a bug report so they will know the magnitude of the problem. I've been making a point of sending a bug report every time something crashes. I want them to know how many people use gnome on freebsd. I've actually started getting some responses from them, so I think it's paying off. Doug PS, I tried windowmaker yesterday.
