MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi Now and then my FreeBSD server hangs sometimes (something that it didn't do for a month or something ago)... It stops working after a undefined period of time, but most of the time it takes a week before hanging. I really don't know what's wrong... Most of the times it hangs during a file transfer from the server with samba. (However after rebooting I can safely transfer as much files as I want...) First time it hang (it occured 3 times now) it gave errors like 'swap pager error' - it that any known error that I can do something for? BTW, I use FreeBSD 2.2.1 Paul P.S. Last kernel update a while ago, I put in ccd and snoop device, may that be the error? (Couldn't get snoop device working by the way, keeps saying that it can't find a snoop device, however I even ran MAKEDEV) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
