My choice of FreeBSD is thus vindicated! 2 hours for a JDK build? I envy you your hardware. :-) There's no doubt in my mind that FreeBSD is becoming a better Java platform with time. My only concern is whether it's happening fast enough. This is much less an issue with the BSD Java Porting Team than it is with 5.x's slow development.
