Everything was fine till I ran kuser and rebooted. It said my root password was incorrect even though I hadn't changed it! I followed the advice I read on one of your posts. The = backup passwd file didn't help. Also when I tried to change to default passwd = file, I received the message that src wasn't a directory. I manually went to /usr/src it is indeed there but I can't cd to it! Help! Alan McInroy
