Is a source available that can explain to me line by line what a
Makefile includes?  For example, I was given a Makefile that has CFLAGS=
and DEBUGFLAGS=.  I assume I need to fill in the = part but I have no
clue as to what to put.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
