Wayne" Sender: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG With the recent ntpd exploit, I wanted to update only the files in /usr/src/contrib/ntp/ntpd. Based on the man page, I should be able to use -i to do this. But cvsup seems pretty unhappy: 1162> /usr/local/bin/cvsup @M3stackdump -g -L 2 -i ntpd /usr/local/etc/stable-supfile Parsing supfile "/usr/local/etc/stable-supfile" Connecting to cvsup9.FreeBSD.org Connected to cvsup9.FreeBSD.org Server software version: REL_16_1 Negotiating file attribute support Exchanging collection information Establishing multiplexed-mode data connection Running *** *** runtime error: *** Segmentation violation - possible attempt to dereference NIL *** pc = 0x281da3c6 *** ------------------ EXCEPTION HANDLER STACK --------------------- 0x817be4c TRY-FINALLY proc = 0x80a99d0 frame = 0x817be64 0x817beb0 TRY-EXCEPT {OSError.E} 0x817bf64 TRY-FINALLY proc = 0x805b840 frame = 0x817bfb8 0x817bf74 TRY-EXCEPT {Thread.Alerted, TreeList.Error, Wr.Failure} ---------------------------------------------------------------- Abort (core dumped) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
