The crash happens as soon as a directory is found by Nautilus which has a Thumbs.db file created by a windows machine. If you delete this from teh server, you can then access the share. My question is why? I would like to have the Thumbs.db remain in the folder because of the caching function for windows. I would also not like to comment it out using the file hide opttion due to performance hit= s.
