No one here has made any commitment to you or any other user about what will and will not be in FreeBSD. If FreeBSD meets your needs, thats great! If not, perhaps try help fixing it yourself, or contributing funds to have someone fix it. I have been using FreeBSD for some time and run a LOT of my business on top of it. So when things dont work, its a drag. Deal with it as best you can (e.g. fix it yourself, work around it or choose a new OS or pay someone to fix it). In the case of quotas, dont use snapshots. In the case of the NVE, a $5 realtek (rl) will work just fine. ---Mike
