The kernel locks up, whenever I try to ifconfig the device. We have a autodetecting hub that can switch between 10/100. I tried a 3c509 and I got the same results. Whenever I type ifconfig, it crashes. That makes me believe that it is our hub. Anybody help, and Ideas?
