If it is FTP (it seems to be) will it be a fast FTP connection or a dialed link (modem) ? Anyway, there are instructions at ftp://ftp.br.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/2.2.5-RELEASE/INSTALL.TXT and other sites as well.
