I used the defaults in /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/GENERIC for setting up SMP. The machine boots fine with this kernel, then I ran ByteBench, and had a major system crash. One of the errors was "apic_io was stuck". Any ideas as to what is going on? Should I modify how I compile the smp kernel?
