The above Makefile for me looks like this: [root@set:/usr/ports/lang/ruby-usersguide] # more Makefile ^_<8B^@9^D^Cm<92>ao<9B>0^P<86>?_qji[ 0]#MESC)E^Kdd

= [khE1 That's after doing: fetch -b http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/lang/ruby- usersguide/Makefile?rev=HEAD But if I do: fetch -b http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/lang/ruby- usersguide/Makefile?rev=1.3 It appears OK. Similar problems exist with the DESCR. And with lang/ruby-usersguide. The problem exists if the fetch is done from another location, so I've ruled out a problem with my ISP's proxy. any clues? -- Dan Langille The FreeBSD Diary - http://www.freebsddiary.org/ FreshPorts - http://freshports.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
