Quicktime plugins are only available for Windows and Mac, AFAIK. This isn't strictly true: there are a few quicktime players for FreeBSD, but they're basically useless because all of the quicktime movies you find on the net use a proprietary compression/encoding format called the Sorenson codec, which is the thing missing from any of the available tools under UNIX.
