Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I'd like to send the output of the "dump" command to a disk on a remote system in order to do backups. However, the method of doing this specified on the "dump" man page (specifying "host:file") doesn't seem to work, and is also insecure because it relies on rexec. What is the preferred method? Is it possible to pipe the output of "dump" through FTP? Is there yet a better way? --Brett
