My dhcpd updates the DNS. This works OK for all windows boxes. When I boot the XP machine into FreeBSD, the freeBSD appears not to send a hostname to the DHCP server, causing the DNS update to fail, and it produces and error - dns.c(428?) - non null pointer. (see earlier post DHCP -> DNS .....) This appers to be a known problem with Mandrake (seee earlier post). Does anyone know how to fix it/What I'm doing wrong in freeBSD?
