Great! vat: ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libc.so.3.0" nv: ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libc.so.3.0" ... some make mv rm ... vat: got vat recompiled! And it works. nv: missing spigot library ... I did see how to get it but cannot remember ... must look for it I think someone mentioned "configure" command ... (Uh. What is the location I should drop the meteor driver? I do not have that kind of location on my disk containing man, local, sys etc.) I am trying to recompile kernel next ... and look spigot library Seppo On Fri, 1 Mar 1996, Jim Lowe wrote: > The URL's for the new stuff are: > ftp://ftp.cs.uwm.edu/pub/FreeBSD/meteor.tgz > ftp://ftp.cs.uwm.edu/pub/FreeBSD/m-src.tar.gz > > If you are having trouble with vic, vat, or nv under FreeBSD, please > try the 3/1/96 release of the m-src tools along with meteor.1.0.10.tar.gz. > If if doesn't work for you please let me know so I can update this code > with fixes. One friend here did by a QCam and it had some hole in the front "panel" on the edge of the white and black plastic parts--as if someone had used knife and made a notch (to the white plastic). The camera got side light thu that hole to the light sensitive components and the picture was foggy etc. He went to the shop and they noticed the second camera had same hole! After waiting 2-3 week he has got a camera working OK. :-( Seppo
