Only after someone comes up with a diff that documents the differences between to two (I'm assuming there have to be some differences). After seeing a few comments on recent commits, it appears that we are somewhat lacking on alpha-specific man pages. As it stands, if the man page exists in man4/man4.i386, then it should be marked i386 only. Since I've noticed that there is no man4/man4.alpha directory, then it appears that our alpha documentation is lacking. If things work as they should, then I think alpha users should never see the i386 man pages. I don't know if that is happening right now. But, the alpha users also aren't seeing a lot of alpha specific man pages, either (if any). I know almost next to nothing about the alpha, but I'm willing to work with anyone on getting all of the man pages in line. And if someone wants to donate an alpha machine to me to help this along, I'm all for it :-)!!!!. -Mike -- Mike Pritchard mpp@FreeBSD.org or mpp@mpp.pro-ns.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
