Therefore, I am = trying to do the upgrade. The 3.3.3-3.3.3.1.diff contains the following: <This patch should be applied to an un-modified XFree86 version 3.3.3 <source tree. It will convert the source tree to XFree86 version = 3.3.3.1. <To apply this patch, run the following from the directory containing = your <'xc' directory: <patch -p -E < 3.3.3-3.3.3.1.diff what is meant by my 'xc' directory. I can't find it anywhere and when I = run the patch from anywhere else, it asks me for the name of the file to = patch. I would greatly appreciate any tips.
