I'm sorry to say that I had quotas on my 2.2.8-STABLE and now on my =
3.2-STABLE machine.  No problems what so ever.

I personally may not  have the answer, but what exactly happens, are you =
getting error messages, panics?  Can you boot single user?

I've personally never used quotas, but check the mailing list archives =
because
I remember there being a problem using them on 2.2.x systems. You may =
have to
upgrade to 3.2-RELEASE.
