I've corrected the subject line, which previously had the wrong program.
Oops!

I did the usual upgrading of ports on my main machine last night and today.
"Tried to
do the upgrade" is perhaps more accurate. Unfortunately, Evolution failed
to upgrade
properly, because a dependency, libsoup, did not pass its testing. The
error messages
point to an error in libgthread-2.0-so, which does not have references to
the required
pthread libraries (such as pthread_attr_destroy and a whole host of others).

This is on 6.0-RELEASE-p4, userland and the kernel have been rebuilt this
morning
after a cvsup of the source code. Ports also were updated this morning.
I'm running
Gnome 2.12.2, which was updated as part of the upgrade.

Any advice that would get Evolution running would be most appreciated.

Frank
