Subject: Why FreeBSD doesn't have a Gnome3 port?

Firstly, I know gnome3 needs systemd and systemd needs Linux. So ...
whatever.
I thought it's impossible to make gnome3 run on BSD systems, but the
OpenBSD shocked me! Wow, Gnome 3.8! You know, they're kind of freaks.
And now the PCBSD announced a next image which includes Gnome3/Cinnamon
desktops. Therefore it's not impossible.
So why FreeBSD doesn't have a Gonme3 port?

PS:the kde-meta port is too huge, and breaks often that makes a bad
experience for desktop purpose.
