Hi,

I'm trying to install FreeBSD 1.1.5.1. I boot from the boot-disk. Then the
program proceeds with the filesystem disk. After some text/quetions:

First, we need to know the drive type. This can be onde of
ESDI, SCSI, ST506, or IDE.
Drive type? [IDE] SCSI

Install onto which drive [sd0]

Disk sd0 is of device type sd.

Examining device /dev/rsd0d...
Can't open /dev/rsd0d for reading!
Hm - we can't seem to read that drive

Are you sure that SCSI is the correct type? [n]

When I say yes the installation does not complete because it cannot access
the harddisk. It's a 2GB harddisk from HP. When FreeBSD 2.0 booted on the
same system I could see that it detected a SCSI controller, and FreeBSD
identified both SCSI discs in the system (2GB HP-disk and a 420Mb HP-disk).
When 1.1.5.1 boots from floppy disk it does NOT seem to detect a SCSI
controller, so it also doesn't detect any SCSI disks.....

HELP!!!
Why can't FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 locate my SCSI disk?
