nefud@tamu.edu (Allan Bailey) asks :

"... I need to install from floppies. How do I create the necessary
floppies from the bindist and srcdist files?"

Assuming you are using 1.44 MB 3.5" diskettes, here.

(1)	Format them all. ( Suggest you discard any that do not pass
format the first time around with a perfect score. This is
particularly important with respect to the diskettes used as
boot diskettes ( the *.flp files ).

(2)	Find RAWRITE.EXE utility and download it. Find the "floppies"
directory and download all files ending in ".FLP". Use the
RAWRITE utility to write these binary images to floppy disks,
one per floppy. For example :

	C> RAWRITE .\FLOPPIES\CPIO.FLP A:

(3)	Download the files from a particular set ( bindist, for example )
and copy them to diskette, in order. ( I believe that one can get
six files per 1.44 MB diskette and five files per 1.2 MB [ 5.25" ]
diskette. ) Place the files cksums, cksum.sh and extract.sh on the
	last diskette.

(4)	Repeat step (3) as needed for all other file sets you wish to have
	on diskette.
