FreeBSD's EIDE (ATAPI) cdrom driver is not yet complete...
(soon we're told)
you can use a DOS partition and DOS, to install FreeBSD
transfer the files via dos to the dos part, and then
read them from there for the install.

the proceedure should be in the install docs....

(of course when the driver is complete it will be easier :)
