Release a new one twice a year or so. That would I over-estimated, the latest round of indexing only takes around 170 meg. (A df instead of a df -k, oops!). If the ports/packages collection were moved to a separate disk, the mail archive could fit on the main disk. I'm also investigating some software that generates compressed indexes and preliminary results show the total database size to be about half the uncompressed size. > be a blessing for FAQ maintainers. Yes and last night I updated the indexed archive to be current, except for the bugs list which causes waisindex to dump core. However, there appears to be a gap of a month or two at the end of 1994. I gather this was a result of auto-mounting "incident" on freefall?
