The best thing to do is take the disk and place it as a secnd drive on your machine.. failing that, th 2.1 boot disk + fixit disk can help but could be laborious.. a C program to scan for the magic number in the 2nd block of the unix section should not be to hard.. then zap it with disklabel -iu julian >
