However I cannot find these instructions.  I did try looking the packages 
menu in the /stand/sysinstall program, but found nothing about kernel 
source...  Could you tell me where I can find the source for the generic 
kernel?  I am trying to setup my sound blaster 16.

One other question...  I was wondering if there was something wrong with 
the X11R6 package that is available in the ports collection...  It won't 
let me add that package from sysinstall.  The message is that pkg_extract 
returns -1.
