I spoke to an associate yesterday who claims he used a USB to Ethernet adapter on an older Canon printer and it worked fine. Everything was detected automatically. Obviously, that was on a Windows machine, WinXP to be exact. I still think it should work on FreeBSD although it will undoubtedly need a lot more user intervention. The router was a Netgate wireless model. He did not remember which model. Good luck! -- Jerry ♔ Disclaimer: off-list followups get on-list replies or get ignored.
