This has been possible in the past. You could do things like

	# pkg_add -r de-openoffice

and get OpenOffice _including_ dictionaries for the german
language. It's nice to have that functionality, especially
when you're installing software on a non-plentycore system
with few RAM and (don't even think of it) little hard disk
capacity. :-)
