>What do I have to do to be a "tester" ? I am sure one of the core members of the FreeBSD project will respond to this but here is my two cents worth. Download FreeBSD. Use FreeBSD. Send your problem reports via send-pr. Voila... You are now a tester. IMHO, FreeBSD is a community effort. The core members rely on users to provide input and report problems. This list that you have posted to is comprised entirely of users who volunteer their time to write answers. I am a volunteer as well. All you need to do to test FreeBSD is go to it. If I recall, there is a TO-DO list that is available in case you are feeling really ambitous. Have fun testing, Jason Wells
