Well, I didn't have nfs_client_enable="YES" in my rc.conf, so no
instances of nfsiod were running. However, after turning it on, with
four instances running, I get the same problem.

No joy. After the upgrade (sup'd and build arounf the 6th), it is still
the same.

Out of curiosity, how much does nfsiod actually improve performance? Is
it is worth running?
