The site http://www.idir.net/~gromitkc/20020605a.html claims that the

Model 2850 SupraSST 56i PRO DF, Rockwell HSF chipset 
(PCI\VEN_14F1&DEV_2013&SUBSYS_0B221092&REV_01)

is a WinModem. FreeBSD probably will not recognize it. It is dealing 
with some of the Lucent but I have never seen it recognize a Rockwell set.
