*C'mon* !!!! Someone throw me a bone here :-) !!!! I have googled & 
implemented most of the stuff I found there ('AllowTcpForwarding yes' & 
'PermitTunnel yes' in my sshd_config file on the remote box (devbox), 
localhost def'ns in my /etc/hosts file, a few others) , still nogo. 
*Any* help appreciated ....
