ok, is it stable enough to use now ? I would really like something more
than 640x480 if possible

drat, I would have thought SVGA would imply something higher than the
straight VGA resolution

p.s. I am cc'ing this to the list as it is probably of reasonabley wide
interest (apologies if it isn't) and I hope someone can maybe 
add something in the resolution stakes ...
