Strange problem here .. I had my freebsd machine running for a weeks with the hostname of homer.argo.net.au ... now I wish to change it to homer.webace.com.au ... I have done everything thought possible: Modified: Hosts rc.conf Even run /stand/sysinstall and changed the network in there ... But when I do a traceroute, it reports: traceroute to homer.webace.com.au (203.25.160.155) 1. homer.argo.net.au (203.25.160.155) 2.66ms Can anyone suggest something I may have forgotten?? -= Jason.
