Boot with the -c option and check that device ed0 has the proper IRQ and
I/O base address configured.

bin is required.  If you didn't install it then you shouldn't be able to
boot.

Check the archive files -- make sure they are all OK and that the
'bin.inf' file is on the first bin floppy.
