Finally, I just want to add one thing: My Apple G5 machine also hangs up when trying to copy the FreeBSD 12.0 iso image for AMD64 platform (in OS-X 10.5.4). I tried the image I have downloa= ded and another one, which was supplemented on a DVD in a german computer magaz= ine.
