Yes. Wcarchive, home of the FreeBSD distributions is essentially a single-
processor version of the 704. I have a two-processor system in my office,
and 2.1.5 runs fine on it (but see below).

  I haven't tried the SMP stuff yet, so I have no idea whether or how
well it works. Also, the two(!) onboard Adaptec controllers need an
unsupported kernel patch for FreeBSD to be able to find the
controllers. I can give you a boot floppy image and the patch
source when you need it.
