Meanwhile, a poked a bit in my i4b-settings and = talked to a friend of mine (another i4b-user). He also had some trouble getting his = i4b going but finally figured out that it was due to an irq conflict. This = error was not reported by the kernel or i4b but after having set it to another free irq it worked.=20 So I tried it out by myself. I tried every irq on my system. Eventually, = I had to assign the given irq (10) to Legacy ISA in my pnp BIOS settings = and: it seemed to work. 1st) Although isdntest still did not output what it should, you could take it = as an advance that it does say anything at all: a whole bunch of = error-style messages which did last until I rebooted the system. 2nd) I put isdntest aside and launched isdnd + isdntrace. And voil=E1: = isdntrace seems to listen on my ISDN but, again, too many messages for = my taste. Additionally, there was no caller-MSN visible in isdnd's = output when I made a self-call with my home phone and cellular, but at = least it gave a 'T400_timeout'. Any ideas?
