Sure. They even work in dual head mode. The thing that doesn't work is configuring the second head as TV-Out. Folks, I can only suggest one thing: Flood Matrox with emails. Ask them how to configure the 450/550 for using TV-Out on the second head under Linux (don't mention FreeBSD, it will confuse them, I think :-)). If you want, tell them, they will lose a customer. (They probably will give a shit on that). The problem is, I didn't find an alternative to use: I tried it with the Linux binary for N*idia cards; it is crap IMHO since it merges the two heads to one big screen (correct me, if I am wrong). What I want is :0.0 for my primary screen and :0.1 for TV-Out. Don't know about ATI cards. If someone is interested in my Xserver config for the G400 using TV-out, tell me (it is pretty straight forward, nothing special in it). -Andre To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-multimedia Mon May 27 6:21:42 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from pqmail.cogeco.ca (mail.cgocable.ca [216.221.81.39]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E2B0737B409 for ; Mon, 27 May 2002 06:21:18 -0700 (PDT) Received: from bomb (4-87.tr.cgocable.ca [24.122.4.87]) by pqmail.cogeco.ca (Postfix) with SMTP id CE608EF616 for ; Mon, 27 May 2002 09:21:16 -0400 (EDT) Message-ID: <003601c2059a$a4bdcd80$0500000a@bomb> From: "Simon Beauchesne" To: Subject: DualHead WindowMaker XFree86 4.2.0 Date: Mon, 27 May 2002 09:22:06 -0700 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0033_01C2055F.F838CFE0" X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2600.0000 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2600.0000 Sender: owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.org This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0033_01C2055F.F838CFE0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi there I've got a question for you. Is there anything I can do? This is operating normally. You can go into the WindowMaker config and reset the origin point for new windows, I think it's on the second icon. > Also, my wallpaper must be only one big image, let's say each monitor is > set to 1280*1024, then is I want my wallpaper not to be stretched and > looking weird, I gots to make a 2560*1024 image. Thanks! I don't know really, but my offhand guess is that transcode, being a very linux-centric project, really only knows how to deal with linux' devices. However, since the actual dvd-ripping/parsing is done by libdvdread, which obviously has more portable code, things work anyway because transcode just feeds the devicename it gets from fstab to libdvdread. Like I said, offhand guess, I didn't look at the code (yet). While I'm at it: I just recently received some private mail about the same issue: dvdrip, which is also in the ports-collection and also uses transcode to access DVDs, wants a 'DVD Device' in it's configuration dialog. Like with transcode itself, specifying the devicename of the DVD drive won't work, but the mountpoint will. DEAR SIR

Confidential Business Proposal

Having consulted with my colleagues and base on the information gathered from the Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry, i have the privilage to request for your assistace for transfer

I am the manager of bills and exchange at the foreign remittance department of the ECOBANK Nigeria. I am writing this letter to ask for your support and co-operation to carry out this business opportunity in my department.
We discovered an unclaimed sum of US$ 25.5 million (Twenty-five million five hundred thousand United States Dollar only) in an account that belongs to one of our customers who died a long with his entire family in November 1997 in plane crash in Nigeria. Since we got information about his death we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we cannot release the money unless somebody applied for it as the next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines.

Rightaway, neither the family member nor the relation has appeared to claim this money, at this discovery another official and I in the department now decide to do business with you as the next of kin or relation of the deceased for safety and sequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and we don’t want this money to go into the bank treasure as an unclaimed debt. The banking law and guidelines of the ECOBANK Nigeria stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed for a period of four (5) years it will be transferred into the ECOBANK treasury as unclaimed fund. The need for a foreigner as next of kin in this business is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner and cannot stand as his next of kin or heir.

We agreed that 25% of the money will be for you as the foreign partner, thereafter my colleague and I will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentage indicated. Therefore to enable the immediate transfer of the fund to you as indicated. You must apply to the bank as relation or next of kin of the decreased, indicating your bank account number and location where in the money will be remitted. Upon receipt of response, I will send to you by fax the Application Form. As soon as you receive this letter you should contact me immediately and indicate your direct and confidential telephone and fax number for effective communication. Trusting to hear from you immediately. you can mail me with this. mark10105@email.com
