Build options was make WITH_TTF_BYTECODE_ENABLED=YES USE_GCC=3.2 USE_LANG="ru" WITH_GIF_LZW_COMPRESSION=YES What i've done wrong? sorry , i had no time to repeat make with other options till next week-end , so i had to ask what is wrong? i've modify Makefile , because of path to jdk binaries - it was hardcoded as 1.4.1 and 'make depend' installs 1.4.2, no ohther changes no conflicts, etc - and build just fails. if someone can analyse extra info about this trouble i will sent it in a day or two. --buid log ------------------------------ Making: ../../../unxfbsd.pro/slo/docftn.obj c++ -w -c I search on google, i saw that more people are having problems but no working answers are given. Jdk1.4 was not installed when i started the compiling for Openoffice. I also tried installing the jdk before Openoffice but then the build halts when it arrives on the jdk. In order to build mozilla (and hence, OpenOffice) I needed the attached patch. It seems, that the xptcall files are very fragile to the compiler optimization, so the patch is needed to replace whatever the configured through the make.conf with the vanilla ``-O''. Curiously, the file being patched already contains similar hacks for other platforms. Yours, -mi P.S. The patch is for mozilla-vendor, but is probably also needed for the later versions -- they did not change much in that area. --Boundary-00=_QwRv/BoloZgWywx Content-Type: text/x-diff; charset="us-ascii"; name="patch-xpcom::reflect::xptcall::src::md::unix::Makefile.in" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="patch-xpcom::reflect::xptcall::src::md::unix::Makefile.in" --- xpcom/reflect/xptcall/src/md/unix/Makefile.in Wed Sep 11 16:47:43 2002 +++ xpcom/reflect/xptcall/src/md/unix/Makefile.in Wed Nov 19 15:28:37 2003 @@ -48,4 +48,5 @@ ifneq (,$(filter Linux FreeBSD NetBSD OpenBSD BSD_OS,$(OS_ARCH))) ifeq (86,$(findstring 86,$(OS_TEST))) +CXXFLAGS := $(filter-out $(HOST_CXXFLAGS), $(OS_CXXFLAGS)) -O CPPSRCS := xptcinvoke_unixish_x86.cpp xptcstubs_unixish_x86.cpp endif --Boundary-00=_QwRv/BoloZgWywx-- From owner-freebsd-openoffice@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Nov 20 12:01:32 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3655E16A4CE; Thu, 20 Nov 2003 12:01:32 -0800 (PST) Received: from ms-smtp-01-eri0.southeast.rr.com (ms-smtp-01-lbl.southeast.rr.com [24.25.9.100]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9727C43F3F; Thu, 20 Nov 2003 12:01:29 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from marcus@marcuscom.com) Received: from creme-brulee.marcuscom.com (rdu74-159-108.nc.rr.com [24.74.159.108])hAKK1Qse008810; Thu, 20 Nov 2003 15:01:26 -0500 (EST) Received: from [10.2.1.4] (vpn-client-4.marcuscom.com [10.2.1.4]) hAKK16uY032913; Thu, 20 Nov 2003 15:01:06 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from marcus@marcuscom.com) From: Joe Marcus Clarke To: mi+mx@aldan.algebra.com In-Reply-To: <200311201454.56022@misha-mx.virtual-estates.net> References: <200311201454.56022@misha-mx.virtual-estates.net> Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=pgp-sha1; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; boundary="=-pV2Ce6ckK1iNP5aA40Vd" Organization: MarcusCom, Inc. Everything works fine, except that I don't have any filters for such external programs such as Microsoft Office documents. Is there a patch to download to support these documents?
