You'd need binary-only components from ARM Limited to utilize Jazelle. - --=20 Stanislav Sedov ST4096-RIPE -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEARECAAYFAkkfOKgACgkQK/VZk+smlYGDUwCdFdG37ZzS3Xv5xFOB3yULiTt2 6Z4Anil32rROcXiIUa5zop3YElpZ1zJG =3DUQ30 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ freebsd-embedded@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-embedded To unsubscribe, send any mail to = "freebsd-embedded-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" From owner-freebsd-embedded@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Nov 17 20:08:59 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-embedded@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3403510656B5; Mon, 17 Nov 2008 20:08:59 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from stas@FreeBSD.org) Received: from smtp.ht-systems.ru (mr0.ht-systems.ru [78.110.50.55]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D83F98FC0A; Mon, 17 Nov 2008 20:08:58 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from stas@FreeBSD.org) Received: from [85.21.245.235] (helo=orion.SpringDaemons.com) by smtp.ht-systems.ru with esmtpa (Exim 4.62) (envelope-from ) id 1L2AOw-0004cw-Hx; Mon, 17 Nov 2008 23:08:50 +0300 Received: from orion (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by orion.SpringDaemons.com (Postfix) with SMTP id 77563398F4; Mon, 17 Nov 2008 23:10:06 +0300 (MSK) Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 23:10:01 +0300 From: Stanislav Sedov To: "Andrew Duane" Message-Id: <20081117231001.7efce127.stas@FreeBSD.org> In-Reply-To: <0FCFCF6165E968449991746EB91D614D0198415E@antipi.jnpr.net> References: <491EEDA6.7040309@incunabulum.net> <20081115.095838.1649769600.imp@bsdimp.com> <20081116000124.4c5adf1b.stas@FreeBSD.org> <0FCFCF6165E968449991746EB91D614D0198415E@antipi.jnpr.net> Organization: The FreeBSD Project X-XMPP: ssedov@jabber.ru X-Voice: +7 916 849 20 23 X-PGP-Fingerprint: F21E D6CC 5626 9609 6CE2 A385 2BF5 5993 EB26 9581 X-Mailer: carrier-pigeon Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailman-Approved-At: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 20:17:18 +0000 Cc: freebsd-embedded@freebsd.org Subject: Re: ARM Jazelle support X-BeenThere: freebsd-embedded@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Dedicated and Embedded Systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 20:08:59 -0000 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 On Mon, 17 Nov 2008 08:12:25 -0500 "Andrew Duane" mentioned: > > Hmmm, at my last company, we had full Jazelle support for our ARM9 product, and I don't think we had any NDA agreements in place. You should change the NANO_DRIVE variable to "da0" and rebuild your = image. You could also change the file "/conf/base/etc/nanobsd.conf" to reflect=20 "da0" as your boot device. I think that should work. --=20 Sean Bruno MiraLink Corporation 6015 NE 80th Ave, Ste 100 Portland, OR 97218 Phone 503-621-5143 Fax 503-621-5199 MSN: sbruno@miralink.com Google: seanwbruno@gmail.com Yahoo: sean_bruno@yahoo.com Sean, You=B4re right, it works now.
