Dodd" To: freebsd-tokenring@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: TMS380c16 and TMS380c26 doc. Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-tokenring@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I've received a reply from the TI literature center regarding my request for doc on the TMS380c16/26 devices. This chip is used in some Madge, Proteon, Compaq and Thomas Conrad cards for ethernat and token ring. I'll should have the kit in hand in a month or so and at that time will be able to determine what other information is needed for writing drivers for these cards. I'll be reorganizing my token ring resources on line and hopefully have a status page for the various cards/drivers/doc up for all to browse. I anticipated a year or so before we would see any token-ring support so things are pretty much on target by my estimations. -- | Matthew N.
